Terms of Service

1These terms

They cover Wiptor.com (“Wiptor”, “we”, “us”): our website, our free Layer 7 attack‑protection service, our free web hosting, and our support channels. Wiptor.com is the operator, and the service is provided free of charge.

2The service

• Layer 7 protection. A proxy and firewall agent that filters hostile traffic to a website or server you control.
• Web hosting. Shared hosting on the Free and Free+ plans, with the resource limits shown on the Hosting page.
• A panel at my.wiptor.com to configure both, plus support by email, live chat and tickets in the client panel.

There is no paid tier, no subscription, and no payment is taken for any of it.

3Your account

Give accurate registration details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Do not run multiple accounts to get around plan limits. You must be at least 16 years old.

4Acceptable use

These rules apply to everyone who uses our hosting, our protection, our panel or our network. Breaking them can lead to the action in section 12.

Content you must not host or protect

• Anything illegal under Romanian or European Union law, or the law that applies to your users.
• Malware, exploit kits, phishing pages, or command‑and‑control infrastructure.
• Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Sexual content involving minors. This is reported to the authorities without exception.
• Adult content, gambling and betting services, and other high‑risk categories. These are not allowed on free hosting.

Things you must not do

• Send spam, or host services, mailing systems or content used for spam.
• Use Wiptor protection to hide the origin of a service that is itself abusive or illegal, such as booter or stresser panels, carding sites, fraud pages or phishing operations. Protection is for defending legitimate services.
• Run denial‑of‑service attacks, stress tests, load tests, vulnerability scans or penetration tests against any system, your own included, through or from the Wiptor network without our written permission.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse‑engineer or bypass Wiptor’s own systems, or access another user’s account or data.
• Mine cryptocurrency, or run sustained heavy background processing, on shared hosting.
• Use free hosting as a file store, backup target, media server or content‑delivery endpoint rather than as a website.
• Resell or share your account or its resources.

Reporting abuse

To report something hosted or protected by Wiptor, email abuse@wiptor.com with the URL and a description. We review reports promptly. For copyright, include enough detail to identify the work and your authority to act on it.

5What to expect from a free service

• The service is provided on a best‑effort basis. There is no service‑level agreement, no uptime guarantee, and no guaranteed support response time.
• We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, including your plan’s resources, at any time. For changes that significantly reduce the service for registered users we will give reasonable notice by email or in the panel where we can.
• We may suspend or remove an account that has been inactive for a long period, or that uses more resources than its plan allows, with notice where practical.
• Free+ requires the “Hosted by Wiptor.com” attribution to stay visible on your site. Removing it moves you back to Free.
• Protection filters hostile traffic but cannot stop every attack. Large volumetric attacks are handled at the network edge, before they reach your site, and their upper limit is outside our control. We do not guarantee that your site stays online during an attack.

6Your responsibilities

• Back up your own data. Free hosting may have no backups at all. We are not responsible for lost or corrupted data.
• Keep any software you install, such as a CMS, plugins or themes, up to date and secure.
• Only publish content you have the right to publish and that is lawful.
• Do not use the service in a way that harms Wiptor, other users, or the platform.

7Intellectual property

Wiptor owns the platform, the protection agent, the panel and the site. You keep all rights to the content you upload; you give us only the limited permission needed to host, serve, cache and protect it. The Wiptor name and logo may not be used without permission, except for the Free+ attribution.

8Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or that the service will detect or stop any particular attack or threat.

9Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Wiptor is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost profit, lost business, or loss caused by an attack on your site or server or by downtime of it. Because the service is free, Wiptor’s total liability to you for any claim is limited to EUR 0.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your mandatory legal rights are not affected.

10Indemnity

You will cover Wiptor against claims, losses and costs arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

11Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, on legal grounds, or if keeping the service running for you is no longer viable. After termination we may delete your data following a short export window, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.

12Enforcement of the acceptable‑use rules

Depending on how serious a breach of section 4 is, we may warn you, filter or remove specific content, suspend the service, or terminate the account. Serious cases, such as illegal content, attacks, fraud or risk to other users, are actioned immediately, without notice, and may be reported to the authorities. No notice period, and no obligation to restore the service, applies to an acceptable‑use breach.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law, and disputes go to the competent courts in Romania. If you are a consumer you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform, and you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.

14Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address, with the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
